February 1st, 2015:  “Mimi” came to Rushwind from Hideaway Border Terriers in North Carolina.  She just joined our family this week.  Hopefully, she will prove to be my next little show girl and breeding prospect.  Personality galore!  Thank you Lynn Looper for this special little girl.

BORN ON NOVEMBER 10, 2013
3 MALES: Mr. Red, Mr. Green, and Mr. Silver
1 FEMALE: Miss Gold (All identified by colored yarn collars)

This is Indy’s 2nd litter sired by Banks. Both of their Pedigrees can be found on their individual pages.
Puppies are healthy and strong and doing well.

The puppies arrived via C-Section on March 13, 2013 at the Stillwater, MN Vet Clinic. Everyone was back home in the warm whelping box by later that afternoon.

We are thrilled with 6 lovely puppies! All very robust and healthy. They were big puppies at 1#1oz to 1#3oz. Brinkley did well and after a couple of days her maternal instincts kicked in and she is proving

to be a wonderful Mama. Great Job Girl!

We’ve had so many of you request to learn more about Rushwind Labradors and Border Terriers we’ve added this blog to meet that request.  Keep posted to our blog page to learn more and have some fun along the way.

Border Terrier Puppies 2012

Indy whelped 5 lovely puppies Thursday afternoon, August 16th, 2012 in 2 hours and 20 minutes. In the photos they are identified by colored yarn collars.

The boys: Mr. Blue, Mr. Orange, and Mr. Red……all consistent in birth weight at 6.5 oz

The girls: Miss Yellow and Miss Pink…..Yellow was the first born and weighed 5.5 oz. Pink was the last puppy born and she weighed 6.5 oz.

Indy is a wonderful Mama. The babies are shiny clean, warm, and well fed. All appear really healthy and are gaining everyday. Check back weekly for new photos!
