GCH RUSHWIND’S KRAME DE MINT

3/22/2006 – 8/27/2020

It was March 2006. We had a lovely litter of 8 Labrador puppies here at Rushwind. Some people called it a jackpot litter because we got 7 Yellow Females and 1 Yellow Male. As the pups grew, we kept being drawn to the Funny boy. That’s what we called him, “You Big Funny Boy”. By the time he was 6 weeks, we knew that he wouldn’t be leaving, thus joined our family and got the name “Kramer” from the Big Funny Guy on Seifeld.

Kramer was special in every way. He made us proud in the show ring earning his Grand Champion. He made us proud when he sired a couple litters of puppies. He made us proud in the field and made us proud when visitors came. He was so gentle and considerate of all.

He lived a wonderful long life and on August 27th, 2020 at the age of 14+ years he told us that he could no longer fight to get up and go another day. He passed peacefully that afternoon at 4:03 pm.

Thankful for all he taught us and the love he gave. Very hard to see him go.
