TRIXIE woke me up just after midnight on 10/25/2017. Her 1st puppy was born at 1:15 am and her last pup was born less than 3 hours later at 4:07 am. She kept looking at me like, “I’VE GOT THIS”, so I sat back and just gave her moral support. Easy whelp for her as everything went smooth. She was obsessed with cleaning everything up and keeping each baby meticulously clean. She is so Happy, as you can see in these early photos.

1 MALE AND 4 FEMALES. ALL HEALTHY AND STRONG. CONSISTENT IN WEIGHT AND SIZE. BIRTH WTS. BETWEEN 6.5 AND 7.0 OZ.

We positioned an old couch near the whelping box to sit and watch. Well, Trixie’s Dad, Banks, has claimed it as his observation deck.

Slept there all last night and has been up there most of the day. Think he has a new spot!

TRIXIE’S PUPPIES ARE 2 WEEKS OLD TODAY NOVEMBER 8, 2017

November 16- Photo Day at 3 weeks old. Puppies are now up on all 4’s and walking/running around the whelping box. This weekend we will start “puppy mush” to give Mama Trixie a little break. She loves being a Mom and adores each of her babies.

DECEMBER 8TH….PUPPIES ARE 6 WEEKS OLD ALREADY.

HERE WE ARE “SITTIN’ ON A LOG!” We love to go outside if it’s above 30 degrees….we run and play like little chipmunks!

THE WEEKS ARE FLYING BY AND THE BABIES HAVE JUST TURNED 7 WEEKS OLD. THEY FOUND AN OLD RUSTY TONKA TRUCK OUTSIDE THAT HAS BECOME THE FOCUS OF PLAYTIME. THEY JUMP IN AND OUT OF THE BACK, AND SOMETIMES JUST JUMP IN AND SIT.

WE ARE NOW PREPARING TO SAY GOOD BYE TO THESE PRECIOUS PUPPIES. TRIXIE AND SCAMP PUPS ARE NOW 9 WEEKS OLD AND LEAVE FOR THEIR WONDERFUL NEW HOMES OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
